Ad hoc publicity- Article 72 of the listing regulations of the SWX Swiss Exchange relates to the duty to inform on all facts relevant to the development of the stock price. The article refers to facts with substantial effect on the asset or income situation of the company which may have an influence on the development of the quoted price of shares and/or bonds. Companies which do not follow the duty to inform properly are fined, and may have to face further sanctions. Advertorial- Media work on paid space. Advertorials are an appropriate means whenever it is crucial for the content and its timely appearance to be guaranteed. Agenda-setting- Bearing in mind that the media can trigger changes in society, and influence media consumers in their thinking, agenda-setting aims at pushing media to continuously report on a specific topic. Reconnaissance campaigns use agenda-setting as a preferred tactic. Agency presentation- No-charge presentation of the PR agency. The presentation renders insight into the range of services the agency provides, reveals specific know-how through case studies, and outlines the approach of the agency to the specific task envisioned. Agency presentations do not encompass a PR concept developed for the project in question, while pitch presentations do. Analyst- An individual representing a trade or professional association who reviews and comments publicly on products, services and companies.
